Was with Farmers for nearly a year. I was getting late notices from Farmers corporate with "late fees" added on to my account so I called Rich and told me not to worry, that I was paid up until April. I asked him on several occasions to put me on automated billing, which he never did (but he told me for months that he was working on it). I could not get a solid answer from him of exactly what I was paying - there was always a problem with their system, and he would "have to get back to me." He reversed my late charges in January and then when I finally cancelled my account in February (because I had waited 3 days for him to "get back to me" which he did NOT do), he REINSTATED the late charge! I finally got a breakdown from corporate of how much I was actually paying (gasp!), I was only paid up until January, not April, and there were other late charges applied over the last 6 months that were issued one week AFTER they received my payment! I definitely would not recommend either Farmers Insurance nor the Heffner Agency. I've now obtained a better policy with a better (and more reputable) insurance company and saved 25% off the top! Find a good neighbor instead!
